Professional learning is critical for our all Al Rawabi teaching staff, it is often the result of applying new knowledge, experiences and processes gained through professional development activities aligned to pedagogical Standards. Professional learning helps our teachers to grow in their professional practice.
Research shows effective professional learning should:
– be content-focused
– be of a sustained duration
– recognize the experience and prior knowledge of learners
– demonstrate coherence
– provide opportunities for transference of learning
– model effective practice
– involve active collaboration
– include opportunities for feedback and reflection.
Regular participation in Professional Development training activities, helps Al Rawabi teachers keep up to date with relevant content, skills and pedagogy. Professional Development supports professional growth and it is fundamental to the achievement of positive teaching and learning outcomes.
AL RAWABI PRIVATE SCHOOL was established in 1997 with 25 Kindergarten students in a small villa in Grnata, Kingdom of Bahrain. Today, AL RAWABI PRIVATE SCHOOL provides high quality education at an affordable cost for nearly two thousand students. We believe that the aim of education should be to promote a balanced development of the mental, emotional, physical, social, moral and spiritual aspects of our children.
