Al Rawabi Private School is a Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) authorized school to offer the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) Cambridge Upper Secondary for students aged 14-16 (Grades 9 & 10).

 

The Taught Curriculum

Al Rawabi Private School prepares students for the extended curriculum which enables students to achieve grades A* to E. The course is divided into 6 semesters. The syllabus is completed within 5 semesters. Every final term exam is structured as a mock exam prepared from past paper questions to familiarize learners with the exam nature and build their capacity to take the Cambridge exam with more confidence.

 

Learners get to choose from the following IGCSE subjects that will assist in future education and career pathways:

IGCSE students sit in for the school exams at the end of each semester and the May-June CIE Cambridge IGCSE at the end of grade 10

–     IGCSE learners at Al Rawabi are challenged to expand academic knowledge with breadth and depth, while developing IGCSE learners’ attributes.

–     Many universities in the UK, Europe and North America in the absence of IB Diploma or A-Level results, will take into account exceptional IGCSE results to offer university placements.
