What is the IB Diploma Program? (IBDP)

· It is a rigorously challenging two-year academic program, incorporating exams in six subject areas.

· It aims at developing global citizens and life-long learners.

· The program offers a balanced, inquiry-based curriculum noted for its depth, challenge and international perspective.

· Beyond completing the requisite courses, students are required to engage in community service, individual research and an inquiry into the nature of knowledge.

IB Full Diploma

DP students take classes in each of the six subjects. Three subjects must be taken at the Higher Level (HL) and three must be taken at the Standard Level (SL). HL and SL courses are challenging; HL courses simply cover more material. DP students must also complete the Core: Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Extended Essay (EE) and Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS).

IB Diploma Program Course

Students who, for individual planning purposes, are not able to take the two-year Diploma Program may request taking individual IB courses. This option is limited as first priority is given to the full Diploma Program students.
